BibikJee’s is more than just a name, it’s a legacy. The name itself comes from our mother, the late Jeanie Wan, affectionately known as “Jee,” a humble Melakan Nyonya woman, a devoted midwife, and a mother whose love for cooking continues to inspire us today.
Jeanie found her greatest joy in the kitchen where she cooked countless Nyonya dishes, not only to feed but to connect, gathering family and friends with flavors that carried the warmth of home and the richness of Nyonya heritage. With her touch, even the simplest dishes became extraordinary, making every meal an adventure! In her honor, Jeanie’s children, Isabel and Darien, started BibikJee’s — a brand born from love and remembrance, created to share her recipe and legacy with the world.
Through these flavors, we hope our future generations will come to know Jeanie not just by name, but by the love, generosity, and joy she poured into every dish. BibikJee’s is our way of keeping her story alive, one spoonful at a time.
